Batcombe Clubs and Societies
Batcombe has a large number of active clubs, societies and other organisations in the parish. It is hoped to provide brief details of each organisation on the website - as the organisations concerned provide them. Below are the first ones:
Batcombe Village Hall Trust
The Village Hall Trust is responsible for the provision and maintenance of two of the buildings at the heart of the village of Batcombe: the Jubilee Hall, completed and opened by HRH Prince Charles in 2002; and the adjacent Old School building.
This award-winning complex, set in beautiful quiet Somerset countryside, is an ideal venue for a whole range of occasions, and as well as acting as a focus for all sorts of village activities, it also attracts events from much further afield because of the excellent facilities on offer.
