New Play Equipment

Thanks to the grant of £58,976 from the Viridor Credits Environmental Company (from the Landfill Communities Fund), the Parish Council has been able to place an order with Sutcliffe Play South West for new play equipment which should be installed in the Playing Field in March or April.  The Sutcliffe Play quotation was accepted after a public consultation in the village and details of the play equipment that will be installed can be found below:

Basket/Nest Swing

Following the public consultation the Parish Council has decided to keep the wooden monkey bars and willow structure and replace the current toddler swing with a basket seat swing with grass mat safety surfacing. Cableway

The Parish Council is proposing to replace the current wooden zip wire, which has had to be imbolised because the supports are no longer safe, with a metal cableway with grass mat safety surfacing.  Clicking on the name of the cableway below will take you to pictures and a description of the equipment in Sutcliffe Play's online catalogue:

Basketball Goal/Hoop/Stand

Football Goals

The Parish Council is proposing to replace the exisiting football goals with new ones.  Sutcliffe Play does not have football goals in their online catalogues but depictions of the goals can be found in the presentations above.

 

Inclusive Roundabout

Multi-play Equipment
